  I purchased a bed 9 months ago from Jysk, along with a bed frame. The bed frame decided to disintegrate (seriously) because they only screw small screws into particle board, and it fell apart while my 5 month old baby was on the bed (she is okay, thank goodness).

  I disassembled the entire frame, loaded the car (cancelling my son’s swimming lesson for the night), and went back again. When I got there, Muhammad was laughing as if it was all just a big joke. He told me they had the right side pieces there, and would exchange them (meaning I did not have to bring the whole frame back). The bed frame (the parts he didn’t even need and told me to keep, like the headboard and footboard) also got messed up on the way there because he had told me not to worry about their condition because they were garbage at that point, and now I had to keep them. I asked him to exchange the whole thing at this point and he said no, and I asked for a refund for all the trouble and nonsense and he said no. Useless customer service, and I am just waiting for the new pieces to disintegrate like the old ones.

  I called them to sort it out, and got the runaround from 2 different managers, who did not make any notes of the call or any of the details, meaning I had to explain the issue twice. They then said they could send a replacement, and the warehouse guy tried to charge me for the delivery. Finally, it was replaced, but they only agreed to replace the two sides, where it had disintegrated. I went to put it together, but somehow, the connecting pieces and the part that holds up the bed were of a different height than the original I had. The metal joints were different too. I went in to get them to fix it and give me the right sides, but Muhammad only gave me one replacement metal joint to fix it. One metal joint. I went home and replaced all the metal joints as instructed, and of course, as I had told them previously, the part to hold up the bed was a different height, which would not matter if there wasn’t a middle slat running vertically from head to foot in the middle attached only to the original headboard and footboard of a different height. As I did not want a huge dip in the middle of the bed I had to go BACK to the store, and Muhammad had told me not to come back without the entire bed frame.
