The Vintage Village of Lights is absolutely wonderful! You get to decorate your own cookies, build super cute crafts, eat roasted marshmallows by the fire, go on a lovely sleigh ride, meet Santa, and so much more. The staff are some of the nicest people I have ever met and they really made the experience that much more magical! Right from the employees at the front desk to Santa himself, everybody just seemed happy to be there and really cared that everybody enjoyed their experience. The light display and giant reindeer are breathtakingly beautiful and the grounds themselves are lovely. I was blown away with how much there was to do for such a small entrance fee. It really is fun for the whole family, not just for kids! Everybody really needs to check this out if they have the chance this holiday season!

Great place to visit. There doesn't seem to be a lot of 1920's heritage villages. Some buildings were closed because they were setting up for a haunted Halloween wall. Would go here again. Looking forward to seeing it in Winter.

Wonderful heritage village set in the late 1800 to early 1900s (early diesel period). We attended the Christmas themed celebrations and they were outstanding. Lots of activities for children (and adults) like - decorating gingerbread men, printing gift tags and wrapping paper making a tree ornament and seeing Santa. Even more to see in summertime. Check out Upper Canada Village for a similar experience from the early 1800s.

Fun place to visit with your kids. Usually a lot of activities and wagon rides. Miniature train at the back, runs in summer only, is also a fun attraction.

Always love going to Cumberland Museum - the Christmas lights are particularly special and the kids have the most wonderful experiences with the wagon ride and hot apple cider around the bonfire. Slightly dampened this year by an "out-of-sorts" lady behind the desk who was a bit rude to us about the fact that the telegram to Santa had closed, but no big deal. Summer is a blast as well and the pioneer buildings are wonderful to wander around.
